Our Story
MountainTour was born on the trails of the Annapurna region in 2009. Three passionate guides — Pemba, Karma, and Tenzin — set out to create a trekking company that prioritized safety, authenticity, and community benefit above all else.
Over 15 years, we've grown from a small team operating a single route to a company with 40+ certified guides offering 500+ tours across three countries. But our mission remains unchanged: to deliver life-changing Himalayan experiences while giving back to the communities that make them possible.
We believe in responsible tourism that benefits local communities. Every trek supports local porters, teahouse owners, and conservation initiatives across Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet.
